Cool Operator is 15 years old Finnish Rockn Roll Band from city called Oulu, which is situated in the middle of Finland- somebody may say it's allready in Lapland, but from our view Northern Finland with huskies and reeindeers are not even nearby ...
Anyway, we have played and stayed in Rockn Roll business allready 15 years, playing rock, blues and RnB classics from Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Elvis, ZZ Top, Dr.Feelgood, Nick Lowe etc. and of couse our own compositions.
Because of the fact that all the band-members have their civil day (and night) work annual gig-amount reaches about 20 gigs, mainly in Finland. In 2007 Cool Operators visited and had a gig in England in the Mecca of British Rhythm and Blues, namely on Canvey Island in the annual "Lee Brilleaux Memorial Concert" together with past and present feelgoods, Eddie and the Hot Rods, Little Bob from France etc.
The year 2009 is our 15th anniversary with many special happenings and gigs- next month there is Charity Concert with fine finnish rock and blues bands in our home town Oulu and in April (week 16) Operators are gigging together with Dr. Feelgood in Lapland under the name " Total Lapland Cruise 2009".
